Leading Edge Insurance Brokers have developed close and sincere working relationships with the most well known and largest Insurers in South Africa and Internationally. We believe in doing business with Insurers and our Clients, therefore our proposal would not be to offer the cheapest rating structure from a small Insurer. Instead, we believe our clients will benefit more form the experience, value added service and security offered by the larger National and internationals Insurers with which we have no hesitation in recommending.
Insurance expenditure is dependant on the external market influences and claims experience.
By placing emphasis on the Insurer with the ability to correctly underwrite risks rather than focusing on low premiums, Our Clients will be better equipped to know that this variable expense will be more consistent each year. During heavy claims years, the correctly underwritten rating model will be able to sustain higher levels of claims ratios. Although cost is always a consideration, we believe that a 50-60% increase in premiums due a bad claims run and incorrect underwriting will have an adverse affect on budgeting in the future.
Our approach is therefore to always get it right first time.

As a Sub Agent, the policies you introduce would be administrated by one of our specialist teams, comprising a one of our most experienced underwriting staff acting as the Team Leader and their assistances for underwriting and claims. A schedule of service levels will be agreed at the policy inception to diarise regular meetings and telephone calls and maintain a constant relationship throughout our involvement with your clients to further ensure we are working closely with them and have all their insurable interest and needs covered throughout the policy period. Tom Heaton has the overall responsibility to ensure that all internal claims and underwriting procedures are adhered to and the high levels of service are maintained.
